@JohnnyC4077 @shipwreckedcrew When you go to jury they wonder. You can get instructions that mitigate lack of motive but still they wonder. And absent motive you have to have slam dunk evidence. And DOJ does not. I am willing to see what a jury sez; I doubt DOJ feels the same.

You simply do NOT understand pretrial litigation in federal cases. This is NOT civil litigation where you need to convince the Judge of anything. The prosecution is entitled to a trial based on the GJ indictment unless there is a LEGAL basis to dismiss. It has no obligation or need to "fill in holes" to make you or anyone else happy. The indictment only needs to state facts sufficient to meet every element of the charged offenses. It can have all kinds of "holes" -- they don't matter.
Viva Frei@thevivafrei

Always ad hominem and never addressing the substance of the discussion @shipwreckedcrew. You do you. We are no longer talking about the indictment alone (which itself has a great many holes in it). We are now talking about additional facts that have been alleged in subsequent pleadings that are so thin, even you are forced to rely on “there’s more stuff in there they haven’t alleged yet” to make sense of it. Maybe. We will see. But for now, the theory of the case makes no sense. And the evidence alleged that an autistic criminal mastermind started looking into how to make pipe bombs at the age of 16 in 2012 makes zero sense. We will see. The good thing about the Internet, is it’s forever. People can assess the reliability and intellectual honesty of analysts and govern themselves accordingly.

I don't know what Brian Cole Jr. was thinking for the near 9 years prior to him allegedly planting the pipe bombs. I don't even know what he was doing in the 7 years between "searching" pipe bombs and "manifesto template" and purchasing the first element of the pipe bomb. You know why? Because the prosecution has not alleged, and has not offered any evidence to that effect. They have presented an untenable, laughably stupid theory of the case, that nobody with half a brain could buy. Let alone a unanimous jury of his peers beyond a reasonable doubt. And I have responded to you now multiple times indicating as much. Thank you for allowing me to make the point again and put the insanity on blast @FXRegan
F.X. Regan@FXRegan

You are ascribing thoughts and motives to someone in a manner that makes sense to you. You have no clue what Brian Cole, Jr. was thinking over a period of time. And as I replied to you several times, motive doesn’t matter. Evidence he did it is all that matters. And there is a lot of evidence.

@ClemVegas @FXRegan @thevivafrei You're STILL saying the article says victim? You're THAT committed to lying? Do you not recognize that lying kind of exposed the weakness of your argument?

@LukeAtomic @FXRegan @thevivafrei Liz used the actions of the rioters to call for the jailing of Trump. It's fair to ask why she didn't care about the actions of Ray Epps. She called him a victim in the article I posted. You can't explain her lack of interest in Epps so you call me a conspiracy theorist.

@ClemVegas @FXRegan @thevivafrei .... Because Trump dismissed the charges against himself. Have you already forgotten that we covered this? Maybe you're just senile and not a liar. Maybe your brain just can't stop from making things up. Well, I wish you and your dementia well.

@LukeAtomic @FXRegan @thevivafrei Liz wanted Trump to go to jail on the false premise he told people to enter the capitol. but you don't understand why I'm talking about Liz cheney's lack of interest in Ray Epps? you are being a hack

@LukeAtomic @FXRegan @thevivafrei there's only one reason to downplay Ray Epps. He was working for the Democrats to incite them to enter the capitol. you don't want that to be understood because it proves Trump right.

@LukeAtomic @FXRegan @thevivafrei he only got a misdemeanor after Republicans criticized the lack of interest in him. Other people got 20 years, some were put in solitary confinement. How is that fair? Try to answer in your own words.

@LukeAtomic @FXRegan @thevivafrei The lack of interest in Ray Epps by Democrats and the Jan 6 committee undermined their case against Trump. It would have been better to tie Epps to Trump but they did the opposite.

@LukeAtomic @FXRegan @thevivafrei you haven't said anything that makes sense. if you believe Jan 6 was a horrible thing, Ray Epps should have got at least 20 years. he was on video.
