It is with profound sadness that the club announces the passing of superfan Andy Griggs. Andy passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning after a long and brave battle against cancer. The thoughts and prayers of the whole Leighton Town family are with his wife Sang, his family, and close friends at this difficult time.   Andy was a passionate supporter of Leighton Town FC throughout his life and a popular member of the Leighton Buzzard community. Andy's kindness, good humour and generosity of spirit will be remembered by all who had the good fortune to know him.     The club will honour and celebrate Andy's life at our next First Team home game and details of his funeral and wake will be posted in due course.   RIP Andy, our wonderful friend. We will all miss you terribly ❤️ #YourTownYourTeam
