Operators allegedly forged documents to bill insurers, generating $19.69 million. Nepalese police have charged 32 people, including company owners, helicopter operators, and hospital executives, with organized crime and fraud.

Not all rescues are fake. Not all Nepalese lack integrity. Recent news about fake rescues in Nepal is very sad. It has given a bad name to our country’s reputation and hurt our economy. Those responsible must be punished. But please know — not all of us are like that. I have never, ever done a fake rescue. Not once. To this day. I have personally conducted more than a dozen real rescues — 95% of them for other outfitters. I have never charged a single penny for any rescue I have carried out. After Jim Morrison’s wife passed away on Manaslu, we stepped in to help her family. Other helicopter companies were planning to raise prices. I warned them. We made sure everything was done at the lowest cost possible. @eliteexped charged nothing for all the manpower and service provided. Zero. Then the rescue of Mr. Chin on Annapurna — no fee. Captain Dipendra from 8,700m on Everest’s South Summit- no fees , Kuntal: the list goes on. Not a single penny charged from my side . I have convinced many of our clients to walk down from high camps — even when tired, out of gas, or wanting a helicopter. I encouraged them to walk back to Base Camp. Because I believe: a summit is from Base Camp to the top and back down to Base Camp. That’s it. If you run a marathon and jump in a vehicle, you haven’t finished. Same on a mountain. That’s why I recorded this video — convincing my clients to walk down. I had many opportunities to make money. But money means nothing when it comes to my integrity and humanity. I have more videos like this. Because I knew one day I would need the evidence. Nepal is still a beautiful country. So many of our people have big hearts and are kind. ✈️ Europas Kerosin-Problem - Fliegen im Sommer wird teuer, falls es überhaupt noch möglich ist Europas Kerosin-Importe haben 2025 einen Rekordwert von 25,5 Millionen Tonnen erreicht, während gleichzeitig immer mehr heimische Raffinerien schließen. 🇪🇺 Regulierung, Klima und Steuern haben dazu geführt, dass Europa komplett abhängig ist von Importen. Komme diese nicht, wird nicht mehr geflogen. Aber das ist bekanntlich eh das Ziel der Grün-Linken Politikerkaste. 🛢️Woher kommt das Kerosin? Die wichtigsten Lieferanten sind die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate, Kuwait, Saudi-Arabien, Bahrain und Indien. Und hier kommt aktuell wenig bis gar nichts. Indien selbst importiert Öl aus dem mittleren Osten, verarbeitet es dann weiter und schickt es nach Europa. Aktuell steht Indien aber ebenfalls unter Druck und man muss davon ausgehen, dass auch hier die Exporte massiv einbrechen werden. ✈️ Ende Globalisierung? In einer zunehmend fragilen Welt, müssen wir in Europa endlich unsere Lieferketten anders ausrichten, ansonsten bleiben wir überall der Bittsteller... Aktuell sieht es wirklich so aus, als müssen wir im Flugverkehr über den Sommer massive Einschränkungen einplanen.

@MBTraders @studentofcycles Wovon redest du? Die meisten (europäischen) Airlines hedgen natürlich ihre Fuel Costs, aber wenn das Kerosin einfach nicht mehr da ist, dann kannst du so viel hedgen wie du willst.
