It’s Read Across America Week, and one way we are celebrating is by reading to school children! One book that had everyone laughing? "Pig the Pug" by Aaron Blabey. This mischievous pug was a big hit. No matter your age, a good story-and a very naughty pug-makes reading time fun.

In 1948 the MS Legislature recognized the need for financial support at the state level and appropriated $45,000 for “state aid for libraries.” This commitment was in part due to local service groups around the state who supported their local libraries. #librarylove #100years
