@Simon_Hypixel I really hope there is a longer lasting update soon so people can focus on making mods for that update instead of having to update a lot every patch.

The negative health effects of working non-stop in the past year to save Hytale, rebuild the team and make plans for the future. Now that the game is financially secured to reach full release (thanks to you!) and plans are in motion, it’s time to reverse the health trend 😅

‼️A $10,000 BOUNTY WAS JUST SET BY @maximilian_ FOR THE IMPLIMENTATION OF ROLLBACK NETCODE FOR ULTIMATE MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3!!! Max has previously contributed ALOT of his own resources to fund and assist Modding Communities (Most recent was MVCIB) and he's now "put his money where his mouth is"! Max has stated that he's willing to pay a $10K Bounty for someone who is able to implement proper Rollback Netcode for Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3!!!

@vxunderground It's going to be so funny when Microsoft admits it's a rogue AI making decisions.

Microsoft locked out OSR?! Holy FUCKING shit. I thought VeraCrypt and WireGuard was bad. Dawg, someone at Microsoft is fucking up BAD. This is ridiculous. The initial excuse was people didn't verify their email, so it was plausible like, "oh two people probably made a small mistake, bureaucracy, dumb stuff, weird coincidence". But then Windscribe... AND OSR?! What the fuck is going on at Microsoft? There is a galactic level of fuck up happening somewhere
OSR@OSRDrivers

After 30+ years of signing windows drivers, we have been locked out of driver signing like many other companies. In a word, the disrespect and disregard with which MSFT is treating IHVs and ISVs is stunning. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s because we didn’t read our emails or submit the right verification paperwork. Cuz we did all that back in October. And this month, we were suddenly and without any warning locked out. Support said they’d “do their best” to let us know “within 90 days” if we’re good enough to get back on. In the meantime, many thousands of desktops and instruments are not being updated, cuz we can’t sign drivers. Awesome job, Microsoft. Thanks.

@cluckingchooky @BezarreGaming @theWellRedMage TRUE. It's not what the context of the quests is (which is still trash in XIV 99% of the time), but the actual act of questing. How do we go to the place? What do we do there and how can we do it? In the case of XIV we just teleport, move, interact, skip cutscene, maybe fight.

I'm still on the fence with this game after trying to get into it 6 or so times. On the one hand, the community can be extremely welcoming and helpful! On the other, ARR is some of the slowest, dullest, chorefest I've ever played. The "it gets better in season 2" of Final Fantasy
Limitless@MoreLimitless

It’s a shame that a lot of Final Fantasy fans will turn away one of the best FF experiences you will have for the sole reason of it being an MMO. Throw away any misconceptions you have and just try it. The journey is unforgettable.

@MagicSlinky @BezarreGaming @theWellRedMage This is beginning to sound like you just have no idea how either FFXIV or game design function at all. I think you just want something to be mad at and are spewing random bullshit without caring if it's true or not, because nothing you've said is accurate at all.

@MagicSlinky @BezarreGaming @theWellRedMage ...yes? There are places only accessible once the expansion main story has concluded and flight is unlocked, or when a particular region's flight is unlocked at the midpoint of the game. What does this have to do with the questing or MMOs, what even is your point at all???

@Guile_Gale @BezarreGaming @theWellRedMage Because RPGs should have their classes designed with strengths and weaknesses. If they don't, they end up looking like Final Fantasy XIV and XVI. And nobody should want that.

@MagicSlinky @BezarreGaming @theWellRedMage In FF4, you walk places, and then you get an airship, and you fly places. Level has nothing to do with it, it's the point in the story where it happens. This argument is asinine, because what you're complaining about is simply part of being a Final Fantasy game, not an MMO.

@Guile_Gale @BezarreGaming @theWellRedMage In XIV there is nothing that develops from level 1 to 100. You can use a mount and later on you can fly. That's it. You can teleport from level 1, and that's it. Jobs don't do anything unique or interesting in way of going anywhere. (Just one of many examples of XIV's mediocrity)

@MagicSlinky @BezarreGaming @theWellRedMage That's also how normal ass rpgs work. In FF7, you go to a place, talk to a guy, watch a cutscene, travel to a new location, and fight random battles along the way, and are greeted with a new cutscene. That's rpgs. That's the whole fucking genre. What are we talking about here.

@BezarreGaming @theWellRedMage Ok so? Most MMOs are bad therefore it just needs to be bad? The MMO most recognized for its single-player story needs to have mediocre questing and gameplay? Ok I guess.

@theWellRedMage Yeah. It's always going to be go to a, talk to guy, watch cutscene, go to b, pick up thing/fight something, go back to A, talk to guy, watch cutscene, then go to C for next quest. This absolutely never changes and it's not worth the payment or the time.

@Do_Galla Emet was enjoyable but regrettably destroyed the game's lore and general writing. Trading the grounded lore of the world for a couple of feel-good moments is something XIV will never come back from.

@avE_tlA @MoreLimitless It never truly feels like a FF game. Sure the music and the enemies sound and look like FF at some point but the only resemblance it has with other titles is naming. It's missing so much to even being to be considered a Final Fantasy game, I don't know what people smoke.

@MoreLimitless idk i always hear people say this and so i gave it a shot as my first MMO. ARR was such a mess and written pretty badly, the quest structure was awful and it seemed like it expected you to have played a lot of MMOs before. it didnt feel like FF to me even

I mainlined all of the expansions and it was practically a single-player game for me. I never chatted with anyone. I just partied up for dungeons & bosses & did played my role. The rest was basically single-player. You CAN get into the "MMO" part, but you really don't have to.

@Luptonium Yeah except without the unique Jobs. Or the RPG elements. Or the party. Or the gear. Or the open worlds. Or the customization of anything that isn't visual. Or the story beats that change the world. No summons. No cross-job features. Ah yeah exactly like a Final Fantasy game.

We are so used to block games generating the world horizontally forever... has anyone REALLY thought what Hytale will look like if it generates VERTICALLY forever??? What biome could you find 2000 blocks underground, or 10,000 blocks in the sky?
