@RJF_1976 You can still use it. We just can't make any guarantees for how long.

@CalebZahnd Have you already tried 'Mailplane > Reset Mailplane' to clear cookies and caches?

@nep @Mailplane @gmail Happened to me today. Can no longer log in with Mailplane. Devastating to my workflow. Very interested in finding a similar alternative.

@albertkinng There's not much to add to our announcement. Mailplane is also still running, but from our current point of view it is uncertain how long it will last. Others may see it differently, and that's fine.

@tetrode Would you mind sending me a request via the Help > Support & Feedback? This will attach your log files and settings.

Hi @Mailplane I have an issue - mail still works but calendar stays in a sort of read only mode. The (google) blue loading line on top keeps showing, calendar is visible but readonly, cannot add/edit.

@sandbags Could you try if "Mailplane > Reset Mailplane" helps? It clears your cookies and caches. Your settings and messages will remain untouched.

@nebiros You can control Calendar notification in Calendar Settings as shown below. If you switch it to "Desktop Notifications" you should get a macOS notification.

@soulbarn We continue to support Mailplane if we’re able to technically do so. We just can‘t make any guarantees anymore. That’s why we stopped selling licenses.

Changes at @gmail are forcing @Mailplane–the awesome multi-accounts, super-powerful standalone client–to sunset. This is a real bummer, but what I want to say is THANK YOU to the app’s developers. I bought my first license in 2007 and have used it every single day since then.

@swade1987 Don't worry too much. We can't really say but we don't expect Mailplane to die that soon. Feel free to continue using it.

@flips01 No, sorry. OAuth works only with their Gmail API. Mailplane needs access to the web front-end of Gmail.

@Mailplane Can't make it work with oAuth2 or whatever they use? (I bet the answer is no, assume you know your stuff) 😩🙄🤓
