I just submitted to the GitLab AI Hackathon and my pipeline actually WORKS 😭🔥 4 AI agents reviewed real code, caught a hardcoded API key, and told the dev exactly how to fix it. Automatically. No human reviewer. 🎬 watch the catch👇 vimeo.com/1176965391

anthropic just accused china of stealing its AI and the internet is calling them a hypocrite because they literally pirated 7 million books to build it - be Anthropic - founded 2021 by ex-OpenAI employees - valued at $183 billion - built Claude one of the most powerful AI models on earth - how they trained it: downloaded 7 million pirated books from shadow libraries - a co-founder personally torrented the first batch - launched "Project Panama" to buy millions of used books - sliced off spines with a hydraulic cutting machine - scanned every page and fed it into Claude - goal was to "destructively scan all the books in the world" - authors sued in 2024 - judge ruled: pirating 7 million books is not fair use - settled for $1.5 billion in September 2025 - largest copyright settlement in US history - authors got ~$3,000 per book. lawyers got $375 million - the settlement was 0.8% of their valuation January 2026 - Anthropic's lawyers sent a trademark notice to Clawdbot - hottest open source project on GitHub with 60,000+ stars - it was literally selling Claude to developers as API customers - free marketing for Anthropic - forced rename caused bots to snatch the old accounts in 10 seconds - fake $CLAWD token launched on Solana peaked at $16M then collapsed 99% - developers who were Claude evangelists started looking at OpenAI February 23 2026 — the day Anthropic went to war on every front 1) accused China of stealing Claude - published blog accusing DeepSeek Moonshot AI and MiniMax of "industrial-scale distillation attacks" - 24,000 fraudulent accounts. 16 million conversations with Claude - DeepSeek: forced Claude to explain its reasoning step by step to generate training data - also used Claude to create censorship-safe answers about dissidents and authoritarianism - traced to specific DeepSeek researchers - Moonshot: 3.4 million exchanges targeting agentic reasoning - MiniMax: 13 million exchanges targeting coding - when Anthropic dropped a new model MiniMax pivoted within 24 hours - none of the 3 companies have denied the accusations 2) killed IBM with a blog post - published a second blog post saying Claude can modernize COBOL code - COBOL runs 95% of ATM transactions in the US - banks airlines governments all depend on it - written in the 60s. nobody knows it anymore. rewriting costs millions - companies pay IBM billions to maintain it forever - Anthropic said "Claude can do it now. quarters instead of years" - IBM dropped 13% in a single day - worst single-day loss since October 2000 - $31 billion in market cap wiped out - IBM down 27% in February alone. worst month since 1968 - Accenture and Cognizant also crashed - one blog post destroyed an entire business model 3) got summoned to the Pentagon - Defense Secretary Hegseth called Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to the Pentagon - "this is not a friendly meeting. this is a sh*t-or-get-off-the-pot meeting" - Claude is the only AI running in classified military systems - $200 million defense contract - Claude was used in the operation that captured Venezuelan president Maduro - Pentagon wants the guardrails removed - Anthropic said no to two things: mass surveillance of Americans and autonomous weapons - Pentagon threatening to label Anthropic a "supply chain risk" - that would nuke every defense contract and force all contractors to drop Claude - Hegseth giving Amodei an ultimatum - "the problem with Dario is with him its ideological. we know who we're dealing with" same week: - OpenAI told Congress DeepSeek is distilling their models too - Reuters reported DeepSeek used Nvidia Blackwell chips violating export controls - DeepSeek V4 rumors claiming it will beat Opus 4.6 - cybersecurity stocks crashed after Claude Code Security announcement - Anthropic also announced Claude helped NASA's rover complete its drive so in one single day Anthropic: - accused China of IP theft while being the company that pirated 7 million books - destroyed $31 billion of IBM's value with a blog post - got threatened by the Pentagon for refusing to build weapons - and is still in the middle of a $1.5 billion copyright settlement for pirating human knowledge the company named after "human-centered" built its foundation on pirating human work then weaponized the result into something so powerful it crashed a $150 billion company and scared the Pentagon anthropic stole from humans to build Claude china stole from Claude to build their models and now anthropic wants the government to make sure only they get to do the stealing the machine learns from theft at every level the only question is who gets to call it innovation and who gets called a criminal

Imagine waking up tomorrow to learn that every photo you ever took was... gone. Forever. Every video, gone Every email, gone Every document, gone Every memory, gone Backup your data! WHY: Claude Mythos could be COVID, but for software Anthropic now has zero-days - powerful exploits - into all major OSes and browsers And if this model - or another upcoming model release - leaks and falls into the wrong hands, it could be catastrophic.

In conclusion: This is perhaps a good time to try making an extra backup of all your online data (eg, via Google Takeout) onto an airgapped offline hard drive, just in case Project Glasswing fails to prevent the First Great AI Security Meltdown.

Still I’m wondering why Gemini fails against Claude and GPT ?? - Owns Chrome - Backed by Android - Stores most search results - Holds ~95% search history - Google has the biggest user data - Even incognito data isn’t fully private So what’s the problem?

@superwhisper If it truly “dictated its way out of a sandbox,” please publish reproduction steps and logs. Otherwise, this reads like PR spin, not a technical report.

Superwhisper's next update might be too powerful to release publicly. The new voice model is so fast at transcription it started finishing sentences users hadn't thought of yet... We even put it in a sandbox and it dictated its way out. It also identified a flaw in the English language that had gone unnoticed for 600 years. Linguists have been informed. Out of an abundance of caution, we are withholding the update until further notice. Sincerely, The Superwhisper Team

It should be pretty obvious at this point that AI is a "force multiplier" not a "labor substitute". It helps experts be better at things they are already good at. It doesn't let beginners match experts. If you can't write, anything you write with AI will be unmitigated slop. If you aren't a software engineer, anything you vibecode with AI will have security holes and won't be able to scale past a toy demo. If you blindly trust AI to deliver on a research task without knowing the subject matter, you won't be able to fact-check it. There's this weird misconception of AI as something that completely levels the playing field. I don't see it that way at all. There are mathematicians deriving novel lemmas with off-the-shelf models. Normal people can't do that. AI is a tool that makes experts better. It doesn't make everyone into an expert.

@smnSk241687 You are using it on the website right? This is in the system prompt. You should use a different chat interface, but you'll have to pay API prices.

🚨 BREAKING: Someone just built a web-based System Design Simulator. It's called Paperdraw. It lets you drag and drop components to see how they handle real-world conditions like traffic, failures, latency, and scaling in real time. 100% free to try.
