Playing D2 without the FOMO drive of the seasonal model is so much more enjoyable. I do wonder if the franchise stuck with one major expansion a year and invested less in seasonal activities that ultimately vanish how different the cards would be now.

Half the community is going to hate me for saying this, but the only way to keep Bungie alive right now is to support Marathon. People keep comparing Marathon numbers to Destiny and frankly, that's ignorant. Marathon was never designed to do Bungie numbers. The conversations about that were very upfront early. It's more aligned with Tarkov than Destiny. Completely different target markets that just so happen to have a wide intersection with Destiny target markets since it uniquely has so many.

I've got tons of thoughts about Cryo after today but if I had to boil it down into one word I'd use the word underwhelmed. Nothing changed outside of the arsenal room giving better loot. I guess its understand able because Narsh was impressive but still I expected more for cyro.

There is so many games that can and WILL replace Marathon cause it’s an extraction shooter. Not a single game can replace Destiny. Come find me when you have a FPS mmo looter shooter with intricate raids, dungeons and a dev team that makes you feel so small in a giant universe I’ll, wait… Oh not to mention when they cook with secret shit. #WeWantDestiny3 #SaveDestiny

@keronage @samikatplays Bungie was below the red line before the Sony acquisition. If it wasn’t acquired right then, the studio was very close to shutting its doors at the very least on Destiny. It was an emergency acquisition
