We built this page months ago but didn't release, because we want the Merlin Security council to audit some of them and then go live - we want to make sure it's all SAFE. Glad we did it by far. No security leak, and 3.5b dollars are safe during the staking. Still, 'Approved by Merlin Security Council' only means it's audited and open-source. Nothing is 100% safe in Blockchain. Right now we have 1+ Billion TVL locked in dApps (not staking) on Defillama. This gives us No.8 among all chains! Just after ETH, TRX, BNB, SOL, ARB, Blast and Base. Lots of dApps are building and coming, and we have Runes Incubator in Silicon Valley and DevCon in HK next month. Unstaking BTC -

1. If you haven't claimed M-BTC before
A. You can choose to unstake them to your L1 address. Pay the gas fee, and all BTC will bridge back to your L1 address in 3 days.
B. You can choose to unstake them to your L2 address. 0 gas fee needed, and will be done in 24 hours. BTC will be in your L2 wallet.
2. If you have claimed M-BTC before
You can swap M-BTC 1:1 to BTC, and BTC will be at your wallet. You can use Merlin bridge to bridge out those BTC as well. You need to have gas in your wallet to do so.
Please be aware - AA transactions on Merlin are too many right now. Wait for the non-peak hours to swap it.
Also, there are some dApps accepting M-BTC, and we currently don't have BTC -> M-BTC swap. So if you want to participate M-BTC activities, you could consider hold M-BTC for a little while. The M-BTC -> BTC swap will ALWAYS be here.
After the BTC unstaking happens, BRC-20 unstake will soon be supported and then Ordinals NFT.
You can trade Ordinals NFT right now using Unicross or other NFT Marketplaces on Merlin. You can sell them for BTC and bridge BTC back to L1.
