@_JackPBrown i guess one thing is that its not the phrase itself but how its used. the quiet violence of being told to shut up about ie familial abuse vs whatever incoherence is going on in the passage from shy girl. but its frustrating to see that boil down to "these phrases are obvs ai"

In the Reddit post about Shy Girl, the phrase "quiet violence" is argued to be a ChatGPT signature. Ngl this reads like something I would write. I'm glad Shy Girl was pulled (the author admitted that AI was used for editing) but I worry about LLMs' impact on style and voice.
