I want to thank everyone for their messages of support as I process the loss of my mom. I will try to respond to your tweets but I'm still pretty tired from this last week and we are sitting shiva until Tuesday. I'm planning to be back in Edmonton on Feb. 15, almost a month away.

This morning has been a lot of calls between Montreal and me as my mom is in the hospital. We're waiting for a kidney stone to pass and she has other issues. Feeling a bit helpless.

Not exactly the way I wanted to end my summer. Had a minor motorcycle mishap practising sharp turns in a parking lot. When I put my leg down (my kneecap popped out and in) I went down (actually gently). But I I have a right knee tibial plateau fracture 🙄 I need bubble wrap 🤣

Finally got home from a horrifying 24 hours, Josh is doing well. Special thanks to the firefighters, ambulance people at the field, the Cornwall @cmfawildcats training staff our bell warriors staff. They diagnosed it as a broken femur immediately and helped with the pain.
