Had this conversation with some children today that “play” is important in adult life as well.
For me it’s cooking, cleaning, organizing, painting, drawing, reading, etc…
For my husband it’s woodworking, driving, building robots with our kids…

Not enough adults are understanding that they have to create moments of happiness in their lives. Find things to be excited about. Create plans to look forward to. Decorate the house during holidays. Make a playlist you only listen to on Tuesdays. Keep your favorite snacks stocked in case of a bad day. You have more control over your joy than you think.

I’ve been informed it’s vanilla ice cream in the shape of spaghetti (?) and has strawberry sauce with white chocolate flakes acting as parmesan. I forgive them but that’s still crazy ppl stuff
