As we recognize the 100th Anniversary of Black History Month (originally Black History Week), we reaffirm our commitment to honoring Black voices and perspectives, teaching inclusive history, and creating schools where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered.

#Diwali is a festival celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists. It lasts for 5 days, marking the New Year. Diwali means “row of lights” in Sanskrit. It’s a celebration of good triumphing over evil, and people decorate their homes with diyas - lights and oil lamps.

Today, we recognize the rich histories, diverse cultures, and lasting contributions of Indigenous People of what is now the USA. Today presents an opportunity to listen to, learn from, and elevate the voices and perspectives of Indigenous communities.

As the Jewish community observes Yom Kippur, we extend wishes for a meaningful day of reflection, renewal, and peace. #YomKippur
