NETWORK Lobby showed up in solidarity with our Muslim siblings on Capitol Hill as our Executive Director Laurie Carafone and Laura Peralta-Schulte, our Senior Director of Public Policy and Government Relations, joined the @mpac_national Muslim Public Affairs Council and Shoulder to Shoulder demanding the Speaker Johnson hold Rep. Andy Olges accountable for the Islamophobic remarks he made on the House floor.
The first amendment grants everyone in this country to the freedom of religion and we showed up to uphold that right.
As harmful, hate-driven rhetoric continues to target Muslim communities we remain committed to our Catholic call to uphold human dignity and act in solidarity with all communities facing injustice.

Minister Christian Watkins of NETWORK joined faith leaders, elected officials, and voting rights advocates to speak out against the SAVE Act ahead of the Senate vote. We must come together against this voter suppression tactic and protect access to the ballot.
Democracy works best when everyone can participate—and we won’t back down.
Call your Senators at (202) 915-4877 and urge them to protect voting rights.

NETWORK joined elected officials like @SenatorWarnock , impacted voters, and voting rights advocates to speak out against the SAVE America Act ahead of the Senate vote.
Pressure is mounting from some legislators pushing extreme, Jim Crow-like anti-voter measures, that if passed, put millions of eligible American voters at risk of losing their right to vote.
Let’s protect our vote together. Democracy works best when everyone can participate—and we won’t back down.

NETWORK's Executive Director Laurie Carafone joined faith leaders, advocates, and members of the Haitian community today outside the Supreme Court to urge the court to protect Temporary Protected Status for Haitians. Together, people of faith are bearing witness to what’s at stake: families, safety, and the moral responsibility to protect our neighbors. We join the call for compassion, justice, and unity—and for our leaders to protect the dignity and safety of Haitian families.

Today we celebrate the faith, courage, and missionary spirit of St. Patrick — the man who (legend has it) used a simple shamrock 🍀 to explain the mystery of the Holy Trinity.
So raise a toast (or at least a cup of coffee ☕) to the saint who turned Ireland green in more ways than one. Slàinte!
St. Patrick, pray for us!

Faith leaders and advocates from across the nation will gather for a press conference outside the Supreme Court as they decide if the administration can revoke Temporary Protective Status (TPS) for Haitians.
The convening will bear public witness to the moral stakes of the case, and feature speakers who will emphasize the human consequences of the decision and to call for compassion, justice, and family unity.
The press conference aims to elevate the voices of those directly impacted and urge national leaders to protect Haitian families from deportation.

Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto took to the Senate floor to share 10 powerful stories of Dreamers being targeted for detention and deportation—a sobering reminder of what’s at stake for immigrant families across the country.
At NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice, we believe our policies must reflect our values: human dignity, family unity, and opportunity for all. Dreamers—many of whom have grown up, studied, and built their lives in the U.S.—belong in the communities they call home.
Congress must act to pass the bipartisan Dream Act and provide lasting protections.

Senator Cortez Masto@SenCortezMasto
Dreamers have only ever known America as their home, but Trump is going after them anyway as his administration engages in excessive, abusive, and cruel tactics across our country. This is what's happening right now, and we can't ignore it.
