Bournemouth v #LUFC - Daniel Farke pre-match press conference ❌ OUT: Anton Stach ❔ DOUBT: Dan James MENTALITY FOR WEDNESDAY • "We have achieved a lot but nothing is done. We need more points and we will stay with the foot on the gas. We have 5 opportunities in the league to win more points and we are highly motivated to win as many points as possible." • On the Cup being a potential distraction: "Until early Thursday morning when we are back here at Thorp Arch we will only be thinking about Bournemouth." BOURNEMOUTH • On Bournemouth: "Andoni is doing a fantastic job, fighting for Europe, the players they have, they are an established Premier League side who have improved every year. It's no coincidence that they are 13 games unbeaten. It is a very tough trip and we need be there with 100%. But we know we can beat anyone when we are at 100%, so we go there very respectful but also in a good mood." • "Bournemouth are one of the most intense sides in the Premier League in pressing and counter-pressing and being direct and they have a top fitness level and high intensity so both teams are very similar. So we need find solutions in how to bypass the pressing. There will be more space higher up, but less time in the build-up. It's just a different challenge. We need to find good solutions: how not to lose the ball and how to counter-attack and it will be similar for them." INJURIES • On Stach: "It's day-to-day. I hope that he comes back asap. It's normally May for this but we hope asap. It's days not weeks, but I don't want to put unnecessary pressure on the medical department. And of course he has to be fit." • "Dan James has been out for a long time so he needs session after session. For Joe he played a lot recently so he doesn't need such time to get back to fitness. We love Dan and we need him and he's so important and a key player for us, but we have to adapt to the reality." • On players stepping up in Rodon and Stach's absence: "The players who have come in have done really well. If you analyse this squad every player has had the opportunity to start. Anton has been fantastic but Sean Longstaff has had periods where he was irreplaceable. The same with Illia Gruev when I think about Nottingham Forest for example, or Lukas Nmecha. I am pleased with my group, but we have to keep going and then we can have a look back in the summer at this remarkable season." NOAH OKAFOR • On Noah Okafor's form: "Fitness is important and also the mindset for offensive players to not just think about attacking but also think about pressing and to help the wingbacks. All credit to him, he has brought himself to a fantastic shape, but he must stay hungry and ride the wave as long as possible." MARCO ROSE • On Marco Rose (Bournemouth's manager for next season): "I know him very well. He's a really good coach and a top class human being. " • On moving from Germany: "I came as a relatively unknown young manager, appointed to Norwich as the first non-British manager there. The group was too old and expensive, no one knew me and its difficult if you don't have a long CV. It's always difficult to adapt the first time abroad, being not a native speaker and even for the players it's the same. To adapt to British football to the quality and intensity, the way the referees are.. it's never easy and you have to show that you are capable to adapt." GEORGINIO'S GOAL • On Rutter's goal: "I'm happy for him. He has helped our position a little bit, but I don't pay too much attention to other fixtures. I don't celebrate other goals for other teams. I just celebrate Leeds United goals. But I'm always happy for Georgi if he scores a goal as long as its not against Leeds United." IMPROVED GAME MANAGEMENT • "The run we are on: six game sunbeaten and just conceded one goal in the last four Premier League fixtures (shows that we have got better at game management). This was a bit behind the thinking in the summer: we wanted mature players who have played on the top level. But still, as a newly promoted team, you have to grow into this league and we've worked on game management very intensely and it's good to see the players listening and learning and that now we can defend under pressure and win wherever we go like Old Traffford: against a team who won all their home games before us under Michael Carrick. But you have to earn this right every game and you can't get carried away and give 1 or 2 % less otherwise you get punished so we have to stay humble." ON TRAINING FACILITIES • "Quality is not defined by one good season, one good game or one week. We are happy to make big steps but it is always important to make steps and to be consistent. Like what Bournemouth have done: they are established on this level. We must think about, as a club, how can we invest. I'm greedy to develop the club so we have sustainability." • "When I came here I was shocked with all respect. The level of the training ground was more or less League One level with all respect. We have lots of talent: talented players and talented coaches. But the facilities were League One. So from the first day it was important to improve the training ground. And if you look now you can see: 'come on we have arrived on Premier League level'. So it's quite crucial and important and I always push that we develop on the top level and I always want to get better." ENJOYING SUCCESS • On if you can enjoy these moments: "You have to enjoy these times. Achieving the semi-final and the first win in decades at Old Trafford and now back-to-back wins. But we will stay humble and so we're not carried away by emotions. We can use the momentum but we need to stay focused and concentrated. A lot is achieved but nothing is done yet." • On reflecting on the season so far: "I can't really remember one game where we won lucky maybe Chelsea. And apart from Arsenal games that we didn't have the chance to win points. So since Everton to right now I don't think we've differed too much. Of course there have been ups and downs and we have had to adapt to win points on this level. We had a clear plan to deal with the Premier League and the success is just down to how the payers and staff have worked and developed over the season."

If you earn over £12.5k - then you pay tax on anything you earn over that If your pension is over £12.5k then you pay tax on anything you earn over that. So - if you get benefits in total value of more than 12.5k (inc housing benefit etc) then you should have to pay tax. That is fairness. All political parties should be looking at this. We cannot continue to have a two tier system between those who do contribute and those that don’t - especially a system that benefits those who don’t

Leeds United in 2025-26 are only the fourth newly promoted side in top-flight history to remain unbeaten against Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in a season, and first since Sheffield Wednesday in 1991-92. #lufc

Fair play Leeds! Probably the least likely of the group to go down anyway, but that's them safe! West Ham, Tottenham, Forest. Who will it be?

If someone told you at the start of the start of the season this would be the table with 7 games to go, drew and beat Chelsea, drew twice to Liverpool, drew to Man United and got through to the FA cup semi final, you would of asked them “what are you smoking” yet here we are and a section of the fans are still unhappy, i really don’t understand it 🤯 #lufc
