If Karmelo Anthony was my son, I would’ve been at Jeff Metcalf’s family’s door begging for peace and forgiveness. Not raising hundreds of thousands of dollars, crying broke for a public defender, and turning the whole thing into a racial circus. Metcalf’s family showed more restraint than most people ever could. Monetizing your child’s worst moment instead of owning it and trying to make things right with the family he destroyed doesn’t look like love. It looks like exploitation.
