@thedatabunny Did you create a vlan for the APs and then just have an un tagged port on the gate ?

A FortiAp connected to a 2960x switch. It can be a little tricky, but it works. This site already has a Fortigate firewall as the wireless controller. Port on Cisco switch is in Trunk mode. The Fortigate is able to find it over the network if configured correctly

Even though I’m not like, the Director of the IT department, I do make the final decisions when it comes to security and networking in the organization. If there’s a vendor we may be looking at that pertains to cybersecurity or networking, I’m in the calls.

The fun part about having more freedom in environments is being able to research new solutions. It’s just suck because I have little time lol. I’m the only network AND security engineer here. I’m doing cybersecurity and network engineering 😂
