Michigan W Basketball is at a crossroads. After a slice of humble pie they have a decision to make. Be satisfied with making the tournament or go all in to maximize the portal and surround your core with size. Not sure of the NIL base but you seen what it looks like at that level

@NormalSizeRocky @12_beersdeep Maybe so. Like I said, Yaxel is a great player. It just rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, the wording that he used. It just felt unnecessary to laugh and say what he did. I think we do agree though that Nate Oats put his player in a bad position that game lol.

He took a shot at a guy for being a freshman and being assigned to him. He should have called out Nate Oats for not giving his defender help, not call out the defender.

@camsutter03 @12_beersdeep I didn’t say a freshman doesn’t typically guard HIM per se, I’m saying the best players on any team aren’t usually guarded 1 on 1 by a freshman especially when they have his accolades. It’s a slight to him because he feel his accolades call for more attention. That’s all

@NormalSizeRocky @12_beersdeep You’re not getting it. Yaxel is a great player. I’ve said that multiple times. He’s gonna drop numbers on almost anyone. If a freshman is the best option on Bama’s team to guard Yaxel, then why is that a slight. Freshman not “typically” guarding him is irrelevant.

Your word salad doesn’t change that. If a freshman is the best matchup for THE guy, then the freshman will guard him lol.

@NormalSizeRocky @12_beersdeep 18-22 is a standard 4 year undergrad aged student. Older than that is an “adult learner” or took a gap year. Yaxel is in his 6th year of college. Whether a player is good enough to be guarding him is not the question. He didn’t say that. He said freshman specifically.
