We've resume our in-person Friday Guest Nights. Tickets are $10 each in advance. Programs start at 8 PM. Spaces are limited, so be sure to call ahead and buy your tickets. Masks are required for all our events regardless of vaccination status. Check our website for more details.

We're resuming in-person programs in July with Celebration of the Sun. The programs will consist of solar observing, a talk about the sun, a tour of the observatory, and rocket launch demo for the kids! Tickets are $10/person. Chick the link for details: ow.ly/bF6B50FduAG

Supernova remnant SNR 0509-68.7 lies 160,000 light-years from Earth in the Large Magellanic Cloud. Astronomers confirmed it is the result of a Type Ia supernova, but they’re still investigating its exact cause: bit.ly/35c7SXU
