Introducing Open Solmap: a way to represent blockspace ownership on Solana that will be a community-run project.
What is Solmap?
For the first time ever, ownership of Solana history is now possible through Solmap. Each “plot” contains 1000 slots of transaction history and is visually represented. Visual representation however, is only the beginning.
Think of Solmap as digital real estate. By owning a plot, holders can develop whatever they’d like. As with all new exciting theories, it’s up to developers and holders to build freely upon it.
We are however, committed to supporting the Solmap community by releasing the best experience for you to mint, browse and collect Solmap.
Mint will go live at 4:40 ET featuring over 230k plots. All mint proceeds from the smart contract will be collected to the temporary multisig wallet here: 72GEqCXZ5GLWnCWon5LBXjsZaoUh8jmarhXoBXnFr6CB
Magic Eden will not be involved after the mint is finished. All mint proceeds will be sent to the multi-sig wallet which is 100% managed by a group of signers who will decide how to disperse funds with the community.
