You know what, I spent most of my 30's sulking, looking inward and worrying too much - I let too much pity from myself and others represent me but in my 10th/11th year of #parkinsons I have bucked all of it - new job, got my retirement from my old job, made more out of my days

And so I have been a bit low the past few weeks, because I have felt so slow - I just got the work done (at work) then back in the house with my family. I have a new garden, my daughter left primary school - it has been no time to grumble but at the same time - I feel fed up...

so yesterday, whilst on my way to the local shops i found myself face down on the tarmac with the arm of my glasses embedded in my eyebrow. That’ll teach me to do my own stunts! #fallguy #Parkinsons #parkylife @PKYLIFE @SpotlightYOPD @Specsavers

@tapehead81 In the last year I've become more with drawn from places I'd go a to , social get together or busy pub gig , I've nott give up far from it but parkinsons is a hard gig

But I know my family, I love them & they love me & get me. I'm lucky to have a good one but this is why people with #parkinsons suffer in silence, lose confidence and dignity. It is a shitty disease that takes your voice. But If I shout them or sing them Its like I dont have it.

yesterday I saw my family - it was lovely! My balance poor, my speech was dreadful - I just sat scared to fall over - just getting up to go to the loo.. eventually I found myself saying less, just letting my thoughts pass inside me because I was so frustrated with "pardon.."
