Correct - budgets reflect priorities and rarely the final outcomes. It is an unfortunate signal of what is being prioritized by the Administration. Unfortunately Congress is also complicit in failing to properly fund and prioritize water infrastructure investments - earmarks have further exacerbated the problem. This all underscores the need for consistent and reliable allocations of state funding for water because we can’t depend on DC for Texas’ water security

The Trump admin just released the EPA budgets... a 52% cut to the EPA include state revolving funds. Dang, that's a sucker punch to the little water investments we are getting now. SRF's are probably one of the best ways to get federal dollars into water infrastructure. It's a loan, paid back, used multiple times to multiply the money towards projects. @PLFTX I'm sure can give the details.
