Leaders set the conditions for their team's success. This mostly means doing things to bias a team's success. What examples do you have?

According to a 2016 HBR article, U.S. organizations spent $160B+ on employee training and education…but were dissatisfied with the results. Why do you think they were dissatisfied? Are the dollars your organization spends on training wasted or invested?

At the most basic level, leadership only requires you to express what you want someone else to do. If you are hesitant or worried about how others will respond, you must first remove that obstacle before learning anything else about leadership.

The best teachers don't come up with something new; instead, they remind us of what's eternal and proven. They connect with us in a way that is so powerful it can forever alter the way we see the world. This is "education."

The first step in authentic conversation is to acknowledge what the other person just said before making your response. Acknowledgement is not the same as agreement. When you acknowledge receipt of their message, you remove their resistance to your message.

"The Speech" was an instant classic when it was released ~1990 by United Airlines. It tells the story of what happens when too much technology, too much efficiency, gets between a company and a client. Lots to unpack! Watch it--and share your thoughts! youtu.be/mU2rpcAABbA
