Their design is perfect: they're bold and they stand out! The criticism about their style reminds me a lot of what happened when Wind Waker was revealed. When something is a little outside someone's comfort zone, it gets pushback. But games need to take risks to stay fresh!

for those asking for ultrawide support for mewgenics, what exactly do you expect to see on the sides? the game was designed around single screen encounters that fit nicely into a 16:9 rectangle. the art does not extend past the left/right bounds. just curious more than anything

@Katamichi5963 Just to add some context: Kenshi is a "sandbox" rpg game set on a brutal dying sand-world. The character from the screenshot is wearing a "Dustcoat" that helps with the sandy environment. If you still uncomfortable with lack of familiarity, you can do what you want :)
