@BitcoinIsaiah In terms of math, this is an incorrect use of the word. Inflection point refers to the second derivative when it changes from concave up to concave down or visa versa. Looks like the most recent inflection point was around december last year - bottoming now and are concave up :)

Time. We just need time. It will make sense to the world. The fiat language needs to fade. The power that creation of tokens offers needs to dampen. One lever at a time. One word at a time. And then, one day, the numbers we use to communicate value aren’t fiat any more.

Bitcoin measures value. The numbers are fractions of 21 million. They grow in predictable ways, and individual entries grow and shrink only through transactions. Its global. There’s a complete record. Its open source.

Fiat has value. A token grounded in political and plutocratic power. That value is haphazardly, unfairly distributed from central points to societies. Bitcoin’s has value. It’s an unmoving measuring stick token, distributed by network enforcers expending energy to participants.

If Bitcoin is money, how could data use-cases ever outbid commerce? If Bitcoin is digital gold, how could its weight in data ever be worth more than it? If blockchains are horrible databases, why are you so worried that Bitcoin will be used as one? If fee markets work, why are you afraid of buyers you do not like? If miners are incentivized to include what pays most, why do you think they will exclude illicit transactions? @PeterLBrandt The specifics of christianity are arcane and at time feel really arbitrary. I don’t believe in a God, let alone the christian God. Vague platitudes that jesus represents are generally good, and I try to live with morality in mind. But I do not need Jesus to do this.
