I think Cameron Carr getting taken lotto or probably even t20 could be a costly reach. If a team is trying to potentially secure a starter they could set themselves back by overdrafting this kind of skillset.

Nate Ament vs. Kentucky 29 points (10/17 FG | 4/6 3pt | 5/6 FT) 8 rebounds 3 assists 1 steal 4 turnovers 35 minutes Ament has raised his level since the start of SEC play. Tennessee has continued to feature him offensively (27.1 usage in conference), and his efficiency has increased since his slow start to the season. As he grows into his frame by adding core and lower body strength, it will be harder for defenses to knock him off his spot or stop him from getting to better spots on the floor, where he's a talented shot maker. He showed the ability to shoot over the top of smaller defenders. Ament struggles creating on ball without the help of a screen, but he showed several good P&R possessions, finding the roll man with passes or getting his shot off. He's a bit heavy-footed and will struggle staying in front of smaller, quicker players - his length does allow him to recover better than others. Two big swing factors that will ultimately determine Ament's ceiling - improved strength and quicker decision making on the ball.

In all, Mara's sheer size as a modern drop big carries immense value But it's his skill set that truly sets him apart
