Atheism is easiest when life is comfortable and within your control. But I’ve personally witnessed several times when people face things like a long prison sentences, terminal illness, violence or death.. something interesting happens.
Those who once claimed certainty suddenly begin praying, asking for mercy and hoping for something beyond themselves.
Because when you’re confronted with forces you can’t control, rebellion tends to fade, and humility tends to appear.

Sorry to say, but you wrote a long nonsense! Atheists do not believe in the existence of God or any gods. What you’re describing sounds like lukewarm believers, backsliders, or people going through a crisis of faith, but definitely not atheists. Ask around on TwitterNG, I’m the brokest atheist you’ll ever meet. I’ve been going through a rough phase for a while now, but guess what? I haven't called upon any mythical characters for help since I abandoned theism. Instead, I now seek help from fellow humans. Humans exist, unlike imaginary characters. One thing I’m certain of is this: whatever challenges I face as an unbeliever, there’s a believer out there facing the same. My disbelief in God or gods doesn’t define or cause my struggles. It’s not God punishing me; it’s life happening to all of us. In summary, reality does not discriminate based on our beliefs. Only our ways of coping differ.

Look at Inequality as well: Capitalism tends toward the concentration of wealth. Even if the "floor" rises, the "ceiling" rises much faster, leading to social instability and a lack of social mobility.
