@TynanSylvester @megatonton With all apologies, does anyone else note the extreme irony of *the creator of Rimworld* saying "people want to beat the AI" or is it just me...? 🤣🤣

@megatonton It's easy to make massive numbers of units and has been done various times (e.g. They Are Billions). In most contexts it's just not that much fun. AI countering the player is also pretty common and doable, just not that much fun again. People want to beat the AI.

I've been saying that advances in computer tech haven't really unlocked new gameplay interactions since ~2015. Maybe I should push that back to 2008.

@Dorinvath It's been a hot minute, unfortunately, and tough i have no plans to return at the moment, I'm also not going to say I'll NEVER return. Thank you for asking! I do miss it sometimes. Life has just gotten exceptionally busy, and cutting this has led to a better headspace for me.
