We are delighted to announce the latest reissue to be added to the Galileo Golden Age Mystery list: Villainous Saltpetre by Clifford Witting. We know many of the classic crime readers among you are very keen on his writing, & hope you’ll enjoy this Cornwall-set mystery! 🗡️ 📖

Spotting this bee in the blossom yesterday (wasn’t the March sun glorious?) has inspired us to reshare. Not that actual busy bees make an appearance in the novel . . . so what can it mean? 🐝 🔍 Exciting Witting news coming soon! Fans might want to keep 30th April free 📖

@ArmchairSleuth I haven't read the Verner yet but Wills is a little underrated IMHO. This is one of the early series featuring Boscobel. Gallileo were planning to publish some of his books but it seems to have gone quiet on that front unfortunately.

In today's video we celebrate the beautiful Everyman P. G. Wodehouse hardback collection, as published between 2000 and 2015. Featuring striking covers by Andrzej Klimowski, these are perhaps, the greatest editions of Wodehouse's work that you can get. youtu.be/uUnwytH9LuY

One for this week. Now considered a lost film, it was adapted as 'Twelve Good Men', but without Dr Priestley. I hope to be discussing the book (and film) soon on the Shedunnit podcast. #MurderEveryMonday @ArmchairSleuth
