🔚 The last day of CARLA 2023 is here! 👥 It's the end of many hours of sharing knowledge and experiences among the #HPC community that will remain. 🤝 It was also a time to share the results of RISC2 after 3 years of work to foster HPC relations between the EU and LATAM.

👩‍💻 Women have an essential role in the progress of HPC in Latin America, and the future looks promising! 🎓 Today, #RISC2 partner @carlaosthoff chaired the Latin American Women on HPC workshop at @CARLA_Conf, which aimed to unite members of underrepresented groups in STEM.

📍 Europe's supercomputer network has grown. Last week, #Deucalion was inaugurated in Portugal. This new machine is capable of processing 10 petaflops per second, which is equivalent to 10 million billion bytes of data calculated per second. Congratulations to all involved! 👏
