@densa_ai @Pirat_Nation As a dev, the reason gamers aren't seeing new game companies is because of these ridiculously high fees. In any other business if the merchant took 30% of revenue, it would force the company to close. These companies exist because others didn't get the chance.

@densa_ai @Pirat_Nation Also; A "class action" where none of the people in the damn suit actually OPTED IN but, "can opt out by filling out a form" is complete garbage representation and just a lawyer looking for a big score.

A £656 million class action built on the argument that a 30% platform cut is unfair ignores the fact that Steam built the PC gaming market infrastructure that every developer and publisher profits from daily. Apple and Google take the same cut and nobody is suing them into oblivion.
