The Greek government is moving forward with plans to end anonymity on social media platforms. Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou has described the measure as essential to combat rising toxicity, hate speech, coordinated harassment campaigns, and the spread of fake news. He argues that anonymous accounts allow people to attack others or spread lies without facing any real consequences. The proposal has been under discussion for months and is now being managed directly from Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ office. Deputy Prime Minister Pavlos Marinakis has clarified that users will still be able to use pseudonyms, but every account will need to be linked to a verifiable real identity through checks carried out by the platforms themselves. If the console stays offline for more than 30 days, the game may stop working until an internet connection is made. Games you already owned before this change are not affected.

@3s7vn @tomwarren You're right. I misread the information. I read it as Nitro being included into "Starter Edition", i.e. you buy Starter and receive Nitro with it, as opposed to the other way around. Hopefully this will also be a standalone package that is cheaper than Essential.

@RandoomTask @tomwarren Starter doesn't have more features though. You get less games than the other tiers, limited cloud time, it doesn't state that you get perks like the other tiers gives you either. But who knows, maybe you may be right 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

@3s7vn @tomwarren A lower tier called "Starter Edition" with more feature than Core/Essential? That makes absolutely no sense. This will likely replace core as the lowest tier, although preferable this would replace Essential and they'd release an Xbox Live style multiplayer only tier for cheap.
