Please don’t post your work on my timeline anymore. I’ve explained several times how I approach collecting, and I’d rather not repeat myself. Let’s enjoy this space together - I value building genuine relationships with people here; this isn’t a marketplace! 😂 Also, I feel uncomfortable when people I’ve only recently met say “I love you” as a way to persuade me to buy their art. It doesn’t feel fair. Relationships take time to develop, and I deeply respect and love artists, but I value authenticity and mutual respect above all. It would be so cool to sit with a group of artists and chat about art while surrounded by large screens displaying their art. 💜

My poor baby “Fuji” got bit by a rattle snake today - he’s doing ok at the Vet right now under observation after his treatment. Truly heartbreaking- and the way these vets bill is truly inhumane/evil.

A little advance information on how to play #FlipArtist It's a memory game made from my sketches of artists. You can earn $VTRU and free mints of my sketches. There are three levels of play: Casual (4x4), Medium (6x6) and Hard (8x8). For each level, if you match all artists pairs in the assigned time you win and earn $VTRU and get points. If you earn 100 points in 1 Epoch (24 hours), you win bonus $VTRU and 1 Mint Credit. You can save the $VTRU, use it in various apps, stake it and earn more, and soon (few weeks) convert it to any other cryptocurrency. You can use the Mint Credit to blind mint an NFT of any of the artist sketches I have created. Each NFT will have a random rarity level and a secret symbol. The NFTs are 100% free and have no royalties — you can keep them or sell them on Honcho Marketplace. I will keep adding sketches until I get to 100 artists (currently at around 65). There will be a limit of 2607 total editions. The secret symbol will be activated in Phase 2 when I extend the FlipArtist game in a few months. 💜

@sabet It's a struggle for sure but I am hanging in there and enjoying what I do.

I was a designer for 20 years. Then I became a full time artist. The transition wasn’t easy, specially with three kids and the only income in the house, but it was worth it. It wasn’t my dream to become a painter- I just wanted to live on my own terms. No more contracts and proposals. No more 6 am meetings and text messages. No more creating brands that would blow up only to get a pat on the back and a final check. I loved being a designer. But I love being an artist more. Plus. I’m my favorite design client now. Or I should say my only design client. Find a way to live on your own terms. Create your path. It’ll be hard at times. But it’ll be worth it.
