Slow paced. Poetic .Short Novel P.S. This is the only book I have read from the 2025 Booker Prize longlist.

සචින්ත තමන්ගෙ පළමු කෙටි කතා එකතුවෙන්ම ඔහුගේ සුවිශේෂි ලිවීමේ හා සිතීමේ හැකියාවන් ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරන අතර රාමු ගත නොවී නිර්මාණකරණයේ යෙදෙන මෙවැනි නවක කතුවරුන් අගය කළ යුතුමයි.

පොත ගැන මුලින්ම ඔත්තුව දුන්නෙ @moogater . නමුත් ඉක්මනින් පොත කියවන්න අදහසක් තිබුණෙ නැහැ. දෙසැම්බර් වලට ගැලපෙයි කියලා හිතුවේ. ඔය අතරෙ අම්මා පොත ගැන කියපු දේවල් නිසා මගේ කියවීමත් ඉක්මන් වුණා.

මේ සටහන කියවිය යුතුම කතා කිහිපයක් ගැන. සාම්ප්‍රදායික කෙටි කතා තේමා වලින් මිදී පාඨකයාට වෙනස්ම අත්දැකීමක් ලබා දෙන කෙටි කතා අටක් මෙහි ඇතුළත් වෙනවා. පොත ආරම්භ වෙන්නෙ ගාලු ගිහින් දාලා ආපු ඉක්කාගෙ නැවත පැමිණීමෙන්.ඒක ටිකක් හිත ගැස්සෙන සිද්ධියක්.

when a book is so good, i find it more difficult to write a review because there are so many things i want to say. i want to talk about the plot, about the characters, about how the story made me FEEL, about the things i learned from the book, the cultural references, and more

වසර 36 කට හිමිකම් කියන මානිගෙ තීරුව ලාංකික සමාජය සහ දේශපාලනය පිළිබඳව උපහාසාත්මකව කෙරෙන අදහස් දැක්වීමකි. 1989 වසරේ ආරම්භ කරන ලද මෙම තීරුව දිවයින, ලක්බිම සහ සති අග අරුණ පුවත්පත්හි පළ කර ඇත. (1/2)
