First look at the filming of Ithaca in Christopher Nolan's ‘THE ODYSSEY’. The location was on a rocky hill that would take 45 minutes to hike up but the path was not wide enough to bring up filming equipment. All of the cast had to hike up in costume while helicopters would carry crew & equipment up and down — they also had to build a base camp platform that could accommodate 200 people.
