Thank you to @JKIrrigation for building our new 2” @HunterGolf_UK tee valve. A tee that’s suffered for so long can now start the road to recovery! Next issue that will be addressed will be the thatch layer to help moisture penetrate in to the profile keeping the surface healthy

Had the awesome guys from @Reelsharpltd in yesterday doing 2 sets of triple units and our @baronessuk LM2700 fairway mower. Very professional and the difference with quality of cut in fairways is massive 👌🏼

Tees getting some much needed maintenance work done to them. A double verticut at -4mm. Plenty of dead material and lateral growth removed! Followed by a blow and hand mow and the difference is night and day! Go again in a couple weeks then get some sand on them

So nice to see the return of the sunny summer evenings. Beautiful ☀️

All greens have been ninja tined. Greens were verticut -3mm with our worse greens being done in 2 directions. Fairways and semi rough is being cut along with the topdressed being set up for tomorrow morning to apply 10Tonne of dressing.

Now the Euros have finished I’m looking to help a local club in the north Essex area with pitch maintenance. I’m a Wembley matchday groundsman & greenkeeper. If any club step 6 upwards would like extra pare of hand please get in touch RTs appreciated @EssexCountyFA @EssexSenior

All the green staff pulled in to greens maintenance, after having 30mm rain since sun night seed heads have gone mad! Verticut, blow, cut and spray. Foliar feed with PGR to keep plant strong whilst currently having damp humid days.

Come in to the course to find 24mm over night. One of the worst greens on the course now drains well with the aeration, coring and topdressing that we have done from September last year to now. Shows we’re moving in the right direction!

Back in September the CM and deputy CM put a plan together to improve root mass and reduce organic matter. Had 2 inch roots with black layer. Progress being made through strategic liquid feeds, moisture management, improving cultural practices, keeping them lean has worked great!

@c86low We used 70 tines. We have clay flint collars and was only just going off the green.

Great week by the team carrying out greens maintenance. Very impressed with the ninja tines. Total of 11hours to do 20greens. Verticutters ready to go on Monday with a double V-Cut and a 10t topdress. Have a good weekend everyone. #getgolfing

4am start this morning to make a final push to get the remaining greens ninja tined, blown and cut. Total of 11hours for this task to be carried out. Verticutters will be setup slightly deeper than usual hitting the organic matter, then vertidrained and topdressed next week.
