No one serving our country in the Coast Guard, at TSA, in FEMA or anywhere else should be forced to work without a paycheck. Period. We have tried SIX times to fund the unfunded public servants of DHS. Tomorrow, we will try again — and we need four Republicans in the House to join us. We won’t quit until we get the job done.

Americans need lower costs from the grocery store to the gas pump — not another forever war.

I spent time in Lebanon and Plymouth this week with extraordinary Granite Staters who are working the frontlines of solving our childcare crisis. Here’s what I heard: Hardworking parents are getting crushed by the sky-high cost of care or priced out of the workforce. Dedicated educators are severely underpaid and doing some of the most important and difficult jobs in the world. The best non-profit providers in the business are struggling to keep their lights on because of rising operational costs, red tape, and corporate abuses of power. Kids of all ages are struggling amidst our nation’s mental healthcare crisis — they deserve and need the best possible care. We’ve got to solve this crisis for our kids, and I will never stop fighting to do just that.

Granite Staters are paying the price for this war — in American lives, in taxpayer dollars, and at the gas pump. The President must be clear with the American people: what is the objective, and how will this end?

Great morning at our State House yesterday with coffee and donuts to thank our State Representatives for their service to New Hampshire. These leaders show up every day to do the hard work of governing close to the people we represent, and I’m grateful for their partnership and commitment to our state and the Live Free or Die spirit that defines us. 🇺🇸

The true American heroes I met today at the Rindge Police Department and the Rindge Fire Department put their lives on the line every day to keep us all safe. Grateful for the time I had today in Rindge with Police Chief Rachel Malynowski, Fire Chief Bob Haas, Sergeant Nick Lavoie, and Detective Chris Martin. Great conversation with local leaders in Lebanon about the priorities facing the Upper Valley and the $250,000 in federal funding we secured to support safer sidewalks along Route 4. We won’t quit in our work to keep our communities connected, safe, and moving forward.

Two week ago today, a broad coalition of freedom-loving Granite Staters came together and spoke with one clear voice to ICE: get out of Merrimack, New Hampshire. The Director of ICE has made it clear he thinks ICE should operate “like Amazon Prime, but with human beings.”  This is not who we are. And what happened in New Hampshire two weeks ago today should inspire communities across America.
