Thank you House District 63 for today’s vote of acclamation. I’m honored to be the Republican nominee on the November ballot. Thank you Utah County Republican Party for today’s convention. The miracle of America and Utah is that our government is, by, and for the people.

Honored to attend the White House State Leadership Conference in D.C. this week, representing Utah with Cabinet officials. I saw federalism in action—state and federal coordination. Advocating Utah’s views ensures our voice is heard in our nation’s Capitol.

It was a privilege this week to represent Utah at the White House and Department of Education.

Today is a great day for Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind and Utah. Thanks to Gov. Cox for signing HB448, which I sponsored, into law. After a year of collaboration, it passed the Legislature unanimously. This ensures students receive the education and support they need.

Thank you to everyone who came to my post-legislative session town hall tonight from Mapleton, Spanish Fork and Springville. I loved being with you, visiting about the accomplishments of the legislative session, and listening to your feedback and recommendations going forward.

For America’s 250th, First Lady Abby Cox invited Legislative Spouses to SHOW UP for Service honoring veterans. My wife Roxane joined others at the William E. Christofferson Veterans Home—singing, sharing stories, and honoring Utah heroes who sacrificed for our freedom.

Happy Valentine’s Day. I had a surprise visit at the Capitol by a wonderful group of children with autism who handmade me valentine’s cards. I love them! Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Family Night at the Capitol for our House District 63 was wonderful. From kids to grandparents, we shared pizza, toured behind the scenes, and talked about the miracle of Utah, the legislative process, and the road ahead. Grateful to live in such a remarkable community!

It’s a privilege to serve as House Chair of Public Education Appropriations alongside dedicated colleagues. Meeting with educators & students statewide leaves me optimistic about Utah’s future. Grateful for every educator, staff member & student who makes this possible. Thank you
