I dnt care how much money I make.. I will never act like paying $2000 for a 1 bed room apartment is normal. I won’t act like $6.99 for gas is ok just bc I can afford it. That’s how bullshit becomes normalized: ppl get complacent & just accept it as a new normal, instead of angry.

They earn ~$4,890/mo & after all taxes/insurance etc. they take home ~$3,667/mo.
Rent is $1,700/mo and they try and fit the rest of their life into $1,967/mo.
$30/hr is not what it used to be.

Got me curious so after I left I read about car sale profit models. Apparently most US dealerships make more financing now than from the cars themselves
