We are attending #Rossendale 60's in the Square today with @RossendaleDefib Plus very special RAFFLE to raise funds for a new DEFIBRILLATOR. Organised by Denise Hall, from Boots In addition we will have our lovely 'Little Anne' to practice #CPR and show you how to use an #AED

After many delays and setbacks, we finally have the defib installed at the Staghills play area. Chairman @Rooey96 said “many thanks to Simone who was NVCA chair at the time the play area project started, and to Dawn of @RossendaleCFRS for all the work getting this done.”

Today is the start of the Governments #COVID19 #roadmap Step 2. The Government sets these measures along with the scientific evidence and the r-number. It is for us to follow... so they can continue with the roadmap no earlier than 17th May.

World Health Day The day, as the name suggests, is meant to raise and create awareness about the importance of health and wellbeing. These can range from mental health to women’s health and hygiene. The theme of the day this year is 'Building a fairer, healthier world'.

Throughout the pandemic, @NWAirAmbulance crews continue to provide pre-hospital care to critically ill patients in emergency life-threatening situations. They have had to close stores, stop fundraising events, putting the charity under significant financial strain.
