I read a book; "Ogadimma" by Ukamaka Olisakwe, where she ran home to her dad the first time her husband beat her. 🤕
You know what her dad did? He took her back. Having intelligent and exposed relatives is truly underrated.

When I was in nigeria I was so consumed with just surviving . Rent is paid every year but it’s tough , roads are bad , no electricity, no water The moment I left Nigeria I got basic amenities (which every sane human deserves btw) in 2 years I had time to start a company , I could think better and clearer( even tho rent gets paid every month) If you’re poor you cannot think .

Again, there’s no single time that I don’t mourn Anybooks App! That app saved me during the Covid year. Never in my adult life have I devoured literature because of the ease and exhaustive supply of books on that app. That was AN APP! The bar was in the stars for real.

Thanks for sharing, ma. The truth is, that girl's spirit is not at rest, probably because of the way she died. That's why her story keeps popping up every now and then. And until she gets justice, her story will continue to pop up. Even God pays special attention to children because of their innocence and vulnerability. And He won't let anyone who mistreat them to go unpunished.
