If Justin Fields was on this Bears roster, Chicago would have been elite juggernaut for least the next 10 years For now, we are really good with hopes Caleb Williams becomes the pocket passer Bears hoped they drafted. Caleb is not very efficient or accurate down the field. OL, coaching, and playmakers all over the field creates an environment that could make any QB look good. If only they gave Fields half of what we have now.. Fields had the leadership, build, playmaking, athletic ability, and arm talent to deliver Chicago many Super Bowl opportunities. Poles traded that generational QB away for a QB that can manage a star studded team This league fears Justin Fields showcasing what he really is. I get it with ten minutes left, but it’s not the same with three to go. There’s essentially zero chance of an onside recovery with the current rules, so there’s only time for one drive.

The premise of the 2pt conversation is we have been beaten over the head with the notion being down 8 is a 1 possession game. We need to educate the way the game is played 7pts- 1 score game 94% of the time 8pts- 1 score game 43% of the time Treat 8 pts as 2 possessions. Cleans it up

@RyleeGoodwin @JGreenwich @Romosexual91 @gregolsen88 With 3:10 left having 2 timeouts I would kick the XP. My thinking is its gives you the better odds of getting to the one play to tie or win at the end. Missing the 2pt at 3:10 lessens the odds of even getting to that one play.

@Romosexual91 @MarchettiT @gregolsen88 The problem is when there are three minutes left, there is no guarantee of ANY more possessions, let alone two. If you can get a stop and burn your timeouts, you’ve likely got one drive to tie the game. So you kick there and delay the two; otherwise, it’s game over down nine.
