He is a co-founder of Clyde Hydrogen Systems, (clydehydrogen.com) a spin-out from the University based on technology developed in his lab that will make new systems for green hydrogen production. (10/10)

...and has dedicated his career to exploring new routes for the production of clean fuels and key chemical feedstocks. A central area of his current research is the electrochemical production of the carbon-neutral fuel hydrogen. (chem.gla.ac.uk/staff/msymes/) (9/10)
