An effective method to recognize uptrends is if the 50-day average is above the 200-day average.
73% of S&P 500 stocks have a 50-day average above their 200-day average.
This is the most substantial percentage since October 2021, indicating a significant uptrend in the market.

It took close to three years to go from 4k to 5k, but it is finally here.
Now what?
Looking at previous milestones (100, 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k) showed these levels did little to slow things down.
Higher 6 months later each time and up 8.0% on avg vs avg 6 month return of 4.4%.

Something odd is happening under the surface of the stock market.
The S&P 500 hit record highs last week at the same time an indicator of underlying selling pressure spiked to panic levels.
That's never happened before.

The stock currently enjoys a mostly sunny INK Edge Outlook placing it in the top 30% of all 🇨🇦stocks ranked as shown in the @INKResearch report below. I have asked this report to filter transactions on options activity. 🔹Current insiders were granted 3.625 million options expiring Nov 30, 2023 with an $0.08 strike (If non-insiders were granted options, they would not show up in this report) 🔹While TMG insider beneficial equity holdings are below our micro-cap median, that could change as options are exercised 🔹One insider has recently exercised 200,000 Nov 30, 2023 options and has not sold in the public market. Generally, we believe it is a bullish sign if insiders exercise options and do not sell all their newly acquired shares (some sales may be required to cover taxes). The stock is currently doing well in our screens. According to the IFIC there were 3409 mutual funds and 1056 ETFs in Canada in 2022. Very little of this capital makes its way into Canadian micro and nano cap companies until they become big enough. That's your edge.
