so cool to hear #jongseob talk about his lyrical choices in unique! 🐈‍⬛: since unique itself is based on the Brazilian funk genre, i tried to explore new linguistic expressions as well. so at the beginning i used spanish “sabemos que somos unique” there’s a part that goes like that! so that way i experimented with language differently to make it fit the song well so i started it in spanish. it’s another new stylistic attempt, with every album we try new things, trying this style & that style.

#Jongseob talking about how the process of recording & writing lyrics for UNIQUE has been different than past title tracks! 🐈‍⬛: i’ve finished recording unique, well it’s always like this when working on a title track but this time to try something new i thought about a lot of things while writing lyrics. these days, i try to spend more time recording. it’s like parts where i think “i want this texture here” or parts that i want to stand out i pay much more attention to while recording so the time has actually gotten longer than before.
