We were so chuffed to receive support to continue producing and growing local good news via Ey Up- Its Wigan West CommUnity News. The Autumn edition is with the printers right now 🥰 & to offer community reporting training next year 💃🥳

Good News Alert! We’ve secured funding from the Awards for All National Lotteries Community Fund to fund Ey Up - It’s Wigan West CommUnity News for the next two years. And, offer local people training to become Community Reporters with Peoples Voice Media 💃🥳

It’s party day and this time the weather is on our side. Lots of fun for all. Let’s enjoy each others company Today is the start of a summer of community play. Tuesday we’ve fun in the woodlands and Wednesday is the annual dog show 😍

Today at CommUnity Corner we have: Chill, Chat, Colour & Cuppa hosted by Sue & Val Addiction Awareness hosted by Roz LGBTQI Network hosted by Resolute Productions & the public living room is open to all. Chat, read, play games, have 🫖 , eat some of Gills left over birthday 🎂

This months private members community lottery winner is no 1. We had 81 players this month & £405 in the pot equally split between 1 winner & community good causes. Players voted to spend the money on discounted tickets for summer trips & trophies for the community awards 😍

Afternoon tea is always a local highlight. Who doesn’t like a Tues afternoon 💃 ? We ❤️ to see so many carers enjoying carefree 💃 with partners Today the children were doing the serious work with Mike & the design team at GreenMounts designing their permanent playbox
