Last weekend, a CCB delegation cycled the #1000km of @komop_tgkanker 🚴🚴 Together with 1250 other teams, they managed to collect almost 7M EUR to support cancer research! Amazing effort, amazing team 🤩 Thank you Bram, Shauni, Isabelle, Lars, Alexandra, Frederik en Amelie!

Last week 2 of our colleagues (Shauni and Lars) cycled to raise money for the cancer research foundation @komop_tgkanker. Together with other cyclists they raised close to 7M euro!! @VIBLifeSciences @KU_Leuven @vib_ccb

Happy to share that another manuscript of my PhD research was recently published in @The_JBMR: we show that different types of #skeletal #stem and progenitor cells increase proliferation in #hypoxia by rewiring glucose and amino acid #metabolism in a cell-specific manner. (1/3)

And most importantly, grateful for the amazing team I have, every step, they supported, no matter how crazy the challenge or requests I had, they joined in the endeavour. Never had so much fun in all the steps of this grant application. We are LAMaS!!Thanks!!!
