@davidclowery A business model is not an artistic model, because it does not need to be based on intellectual honesty & trust. When artists say they have a business model, they degrade themselves & their art. Why do fans need to trust artists if they behave like vendors of regular commodities?

This has always been a stupid argument. 1) An illegal file sharing service does not "promote" music. You learn about a band or song first and then torrent it. 2)Someone who doesn't pay for you music is not part of your business model to continue creating art. They are irrelevant. 1999 called and wants its lame idea back.
