Issue 50 is and always will be what it is, and people are allowed to judge that. That's art.
The direction of the comic has shifted away from Sonic's morality quite a bit, but people are allowed to talk about when it hadn't.

@RoaringTfem1225 So long as the game adequately explains the role of "the voice," or has enough information that a new player can come to the conclusion themselves, the other details are irrelevant. Maybe Gaster namedrop himself or smth, but I highly doubt he'll be "shown" conventionally.

@RoaringTfem1225 Firstly, Toby has repeatedly stated that Deltarune is meant to be a game for people who have completed Undertale. He's designed it so that new players can still follow along, but it's not "meant" for them. Secondly, a new player doesn't need to know "who" Gaster is.

Comics are mediums that relay on not just talking but visuals too. Sometimes it's okay to let the imagery talk.
A good example I can use that's similar is secret rings. The scene where Sonic rescues King Sharyar, the art spoke for itself. He didn't need to talk. Show don't tell.

@PersonthePerso2 Not to mention that I don't think there should be an expiration date on discourse. Art is what it is, & you should speak about it as it is. Issue 50 will forever be written like this & it deserves to be analyzed.
Extrapolating that to the whole comic is where it gets dumb.
