@STAVACS My daughter is awaiting her 2nd pfizer vaccine, but we have recently moved from St. Albans (Parkbury House) to Harpenden (Davenport House). Im assuming she will now NOT get her vaccine call up text for Batchwood? What should we do? Contact GP in Harpenden?

@mazzymc Yes we have them at Batchwood Hall on Thursday 29th for people who have had at least 8 weeks from their first vaccination

@STAVACS are there any second Pfizer vaccination walk in sessions this week?

@max_quain Sorry we are not open on Sunday. We can accommodate walk-ins on Thursday 29th if that helps

COVID cases have been rising, especially in those in their 20s & anyone unvaccinated. Please come forward & get your vaccine. We have walk-in vaccinations FRIDAY 23rd July from 0900 - 1330 at Batchwood Hall. Pfizer or AZ, first doses & 2nd doses (no less than 8 wks from 1st)

@tvdoormat The timing is a balance. A person’s immune response to the vaccine is better with a longer gap between doses, versus the 2 doses providing better protection than one dose alone. The joint committee of immunisation and vaccination thus state 8 wk interval

@STAVACS This seems like a really good reason to give 2nd doses with a 3 week delay
